cold starf car idles 2500 rpm

on a cold start my car will idle at 2500 rpm for about 3 mins of driving it.. what would cause this? TPS being bad?

Could be your FIAV.

Fast Idle Air Valve is that the same thing as the Idle Speed Control motor cuz i just replaced that

No, they're different. The Fast Idle Air Valve is on the bottom of the throttlebody. It's the part that has the two coolant lines running to it. It allows extra air in when the engine is cold to raise idle and help it warm up faster. After awhile a lot of times they seem to start to raise the idle too high. My one talon does the same as yours and starts up around 2,000-2,300rpms or so, but the other one still starts up at 1,500rpms like it should and they're both 91 turbo AWDs. Can try something like in the following link to fix it, get a new throttlebody, or just deal with it I guess. I've just learned to deal with it on my car.
