Sidney,
I know I should be able to find this by searching, but searching isn't narrowing things down like it used to. Now I know ebay coilovers suck; but is there any problem with buying a cheap set of ebay for the threaded sleeves and then picking up a good set of springs and choosing my own spring rate/length? btw i'm using KYB AGX's.

One-size-fits-all sleeves often rattle. GC sleeves must be ordered by saying what shocks they will be on so they can supply an inner ring that fits just right.

With that said, a little ingenuity can stop a rattle.

thanks for the quick reply Jtoby. Being in canada, shipping kills us for suspension parts and nobody here can get GC, or most other brands. Even though the dollar is getting better often times its not worth it. I can get a variety of springs with different brands, rates, and lengths here and I have a machine shop at my disposal, i'm sure I can fix a little rattle.

Make sure you get some with corrosion resistant coating or they won't be adjustable for very long.

Looking into options for springs my parts guy came accross QA1 springs...Anybody had experience with these? I do a fair bit of autocross but my car is also a daily driver. Would a spring rate of 350 in the rear and 400 in the back fit my needs. And a simple question that I couldn't find the answer to....what length of springs am I going to need for a 1G AWD, 6", 7" or 8" for front and rear.

along with spring length in front and rear. does anybody know the shock tube diameter of KYB AGX's front and rear so I can figure out what ID diameter sleeve to get?
