coilover question k-sport

Hey whats up guys i am getting ready to install my coilovers and on my spyder. I read the guide for the 1g iI know it's just about the same give and take buy it said to get a alignment after i install them... Can any tire shop do the alignment or is it a special kind of alignment for coilovers?

It is a regular alignment you will need to do, no biggie. Make sure you get a camber kit if the drop is 2" or more, otherwise you will be eating your tires up in no time.

If you have adjustable pillow ball mounts then I would suggest taking your car to a place that does custom lowrider stuff, guys that know how to deal with lowering. After I put my Megan Coilovers on, I had my car aligned right away on a new Hunter machine and within two weeks my new BF Goodrich tires were done on the front. I made them pay for a new set and got my money refunded and then took them to one of my buddies who works at a local Nissan dealer. He had just done some Tein coilovers on his 1g and he only charged me 40 bucks. If they don't have pillowballs, you should be alright.

I would install them and go get an alignment reading before getting the camber kit. You might be ok without one. You should be able to get an alignment reading for free.

I agree, put them on first before worrying about a camber kit. I have k-sports and I didnt need them when my car was lowered 1.5"
