Where exactly do these rubber bands go? And do you really need to install them and are the little black screws necessary as well? Thanks!

the O-rings go between the sleeve and the shock.

the little black screws are used to center the sleeve on the shock (I'm assuming)

Yeah, the rubber things slide on the shock then you slide the sleve down them its helps wiht rattles and all that jazz. Heres a tip: put some grease or lubricant on there and the sleve will slide on and off ( if you need to disasemble ) easily. The little screws thread into the sleve to center it up like stated above. I left mine off. Whats shocks are you running and whats the rates on those springs ? The kit looks pretty nice.

I think i got it, these are cosmo racing adjustible coilover evo II. Right now i have cheap ebay coilovers on my car, (BIG MISTAKE) WASTE OF TIME, MONEY, SWEAT, STRUTS, etc..

I'm using stock shocks and the spring rate im not too sure what it is, i know that the rear are 6 KG and the front are 8 KG.

Ouch stock shocks, what made you do that? are you going to keep it at stock height until you get some aftermarket shocks? The ride on blown shocks will not be better than the cheap ebay coilovers. Just a thought. anyways stuff looks good glad you got it figured out.

I dunno, when i started the process of ordering parts to drop my car i went the stupid way and bought some cheap ebay coilovers (those blue ones) well that didn't work and they broke my strut seats so I researched some more and came across some coilovers that would work on the strut with no seats. How much can I get some better shocks for? Is it really worth the money and effort of installing them again? The ride is WAY better with these coilovers than the cheap ebay ones!

If your on stock struts then yea eventually your ride is going to go to..the birds haha if you know what I mean. Shocks can be had for many different prices just check around I have some dropzone ones im selling but I thing those are more fit for a spring like the prokit or sportline. Ill get some links to shocks for you.

On my old GS, I lowerd on stock shocks and it was ok for about a month then it was the worst thing i ever did. I will never again lower wiht out somesort or aftermarket sportshock. I bet many will agree with me.

you dont have anypictures of how the sleve sits on the shock do you ? the reason I ask is because if the sleve sits higher than the bumpstop fully compressed then you will just be bottoming out the sleve on the upper hat. Know what I mean ? I had to do some sutting and a bunch of little stuff on my coilovers, but I scraped the ebay springs and orderd Eibach coil springs....

see how my bumpstop is sitting on the shocks its self? so theres nothing in the way of the movement.
Those are the dropzone shocks im selling.
In the last picture you can see my ebay springs used as holders, my Gr-2's and stock springs on the bench and in the box are my Dropzone struts and an eibach pro-kti for AWD 2g's...lastly on the car ( now ) is the KYb agx's and the coilover set up.
