That's light Justin. I still know of a few things I can do to pull weight on mine when I get back in town. It's definitely going to come down to the weight and driver. For the most part, we know what will make the power. Just have to wait and see if I'll be able to drop the money into mine that I want to!

Damn really wish i could make this event but i don't think we have enough time to make some shake down passes on the new motor and have it dialed in to go racing (not too fun trying to sort the car out at the event)

Also my NHRA license expired in Oct and i just faxed it in today to their offices and although they can expedite it for me i'm more concerned to take my time and "nut&bolt" the car after making a few moderate passes at TNT or a Wed night event.

BTW how strict are they on having a diaper and/or belly pan (do they have specs as to what they want posted somewhere?)

A 1.5x short time might get you right on the record! Can't wait to here the results!

BTW - are you doing a 1st or 2nd gear burnout? If you are doing it in 1st, try it in 2nd...you'll get more speed out of the tire and it will heat up a little more. First time I did it was with a mostly stock SRT4 Neon...didn't think it would do it, but it did it just fine! Just a thought.

I was only doin first gear burnouts to conserve axles. I planned to do second gear and lay some smoke today. You should see my second gear burnouts with my 26s and when I was running the pte6262
