Clutch vibrates and sounds weird.

Whenever I push in the clutch it feels weird like something is vibrating. When I step on the gas and get up in the 3k + rpms I hear a knocking noise. Also when I stop at a light or whatever smoke just puffs out the back exhaust.

a team of chinese/japanes people could come and shoot up your car and all the nitrous will make it explode 4 feet off the ground.

that sucks man, i've had a bunch of stuff all go wrong at once too. i had my tires slashed one night and then my car started on fire and blew up the next day while driving it.

the "clinck clinck" sound deal isnt good... is it still doing it? Since you raced it, you could of done alot of things. Timing belt could of skipped, now you got a valve tapping your piston, probably lightly as the car is still runing but it isnt good for it..obviously. Also you could of burned a ring.. becasue there is smoke. Maybe a head gasket... OR...another 100,000 things that others might come up with. One thing, smoke out of the exhaust=usually not good, but im sure you know that.

sry bout you bad luck man, every car goes through shit like this. My buddies Golf VR6 1996 went through a phase last winter where almost every part broke for some odd reason.

Did you happen to maybe over rev your car???? I did that on my dads truck and the valves tapped for like a week then just stopped. Hope you figure it out

does the vibration effect clutch performance?? does the car smoke on start-up,after idling for awhile? is it oil smoke,coolant smoke,brake fluid smoke?please try and narrow it down.

First off I would like to say sorry for the capitalization problem that I have. Im so used to typing on yahoo messenger and taking the quick way, So sorry.

Second, My clutch doesnt feel the same. Whenever I push it in I get a weird feel in the pedal. I think im burning oil because i took a sniff of it today and it didnt smell sweet. More burned (oil). Im guessing my car is F&%*ed so I plan on selling it when I return from iraq. I dont know if I will return to the DSM world due to the fact that I've had so many problems with mine. I love them to death but I cant keep having them break down on me.
