checked my clutch slave today and is pushed all the way out to pass side. i took the slave and pushed it all the way in qand it was stuck and took some force to break free. my question is if it was stuck all the way out would that make my clutch not dissengage to select a gear. need to know asap i am in the process of takeing out my trans.if i dont need to take the trans to fix i will be a happy man.WTF
 
If its stuck all the way out, meaning you cant push the slave rod in, then most likely you need to have your pedal adjusted properly.... You should be able to push the slave rod all the way in by hand and it should slowly work its way back to its normal position, if its getting stuck or needing assistance then you may need a new slave cylinder...

Btw, what problems are you having with the car thats leading you to check the slave in the first place..?
 
the reverse gear in the transmission does not have a syncronizer, meaning you cannot put the car in reverse while it is moving in either direction forwards or backwards, only fully stopped.

-reverse is the only gear that it is "kinda" ok to grind into. only by a little.

-do the rest of the gears go in like butter when the car is running and you step on the clutch?
