Ok, Here is the the thing, My car's clutch was working fine. pulled up in front of my house turned car off went inside. Came out a hour and a half later turned car on whent to put it into gear, damn thing would not shift. checked under the hood. Clutch Master cylinder reervoir was empty. after saying to my self what the hell last time i checked my fluids it was full. like 2 weeks ago. any way. filled it with DOT 4 fluid it worked. but now i have to pump the clutch a couple of times to get the clutch to grap so i can shift. I think its a Air Pocket and i need to bleed my line. I took the cap back of and told my brother to tap the line. i pushed on the throttle a little and he said some air bubbles cam up but then stopped. i went and drove around the block it feels a little better but still there. Any tips on what i should do?

Well you need to fully bleed the system but if it was empty that means you have a leak. Check under your dash by the pedals if theres fluid than its the cluth master cylinder. (12 at autozone for rebuild kit) Check the slave cylinder for leaks. and go over and check all your lines. Hopefully that helps.

wow, thats the same thing that happened to me. I just keep bleeding it. If you find out exactly what it is, PLEASE post it. Good luck

You know the funny thing. The problem fixed its self! I was getting ready to pull my car into my dads Shop. Drove over to my brothers house to pick him up to help me bleed the system. And on the drive over to the shop he's Like "Did you relize you are not pumping the clutch and it is shifting just fine?" I looked at him and did not say a word down shifted from 3rd to 2nd no problem, punched it, at 5500rpm's (Was in town did not want to get a ticket) shifted to 3rd no problem. Weird OMG When we got to the shop I told my dad that the problem went away on its own. He asked "Have you been driving like you are in a Damn Nascar Race?" I told him yes. He asked me if the Clutch Master Cylinder was low again. I said well yes Im not that stupid I filled it last night, because I was at a local race. And I always check my fluids when I get home. Any way to make this short it bled its self without me doing anything more then driving aggresivly in traffic and going out to the local races on the weekend.
