I have been having a few problems with the clutch sticking half way, all the way or not at all the past few weeks. I figured it was the master or slave, just didnt have time to look.

Well, i started to look at it today and the master cylinder has no leaks inside the car (on the rod). The slave has no leaks either. So now i bleed the system, air comes out but not very much. Now the pedal still sticks to the floor, then i relize that when i push the clutch in the clutch fluid reservoir spits out fluid. It shouldnt do this correct? So what does this mean, the master cylinder is not working right and pushing fluid back into the reservoir?

Thanks for any help.

The clutch system is hydraulic. It depends on fluid movement to produce the desired result. When you push the pedal down, fluid is pumped into the lines to create pressure, that fluid has to come back out when the pedal is released, therefore it goes back into the reservoir. You mentioned not much air comes out when bleeding the system. THere should be NO air at all. Air is bad to have in a hydraulic system. Make sure it is bled all the way. That should be a good place to start, if you don't need to replace the master and slave cylinders.
