ok so it started out with the clutch being funny, i couldn't shift into gear with the clutch pedal pushed in when the car was started, i could shift gears when the car was turned off tho. so first i tried adjusting the pedal. that did not work. so today i replaced the slave cylinder. it still did not do anything. Me and my friend(how knows allot more about car then i do) where trying to figure it out, and as he was under the car, he pulled the rubber boot out a Lil that the fork goes through and a lil metal piece fell out, i attached pics of it to the post, idk what to do now.

p.s. 99 eclipse gsx stock except for the intake.

That looks like a fork off the pressure plate. More than likely that's what happened is that the pressure plate broke which would not allow the clutch to release, which would not allow a shift. there should be an inspection plate on the bottom of the tranny next to the oil pan that you may be able to see something wrong, but I would take the tranny out and really look at it to see what damage has actually been done.

What he said, it is part of the diaphragm on the pressure plate, regardless you will have to pull the transmission to replace it. I would recommend a Southbend clutch pm twicks69 on here as he sells them or an ACT 2100 for a 7 bolt engine.

So my clutch master cylinder is leaking in my car. Literally in my car on my driver side floor. I adjusted the rod months ago. Is it possible to adjust it to far one way, which would cause it to leak, or should I just go ahead and replace it.

You you think i should replace it, could you point me in the direction of a guide?

Open wide LOL
It's easy to exchange. Basically loosen the two bolts inside the car and then the ones that connect with it in the engine bay. I did it myself without a guide or anything. Pretty straight forward. When you get to installing the parts in the engine bay. I hope you have small hands LOL.

Actually it's 1 nut from the engine side and one bolt from inside the car. I think I replaced mine in about 20 minutes. The only thing is being able to squeeze your hand in the small space.
