Clutch Height

My 93' Laser Turbo shifts so hard at times that it grinds when the clutch is fully depressed, the Clutch Height is supposed to be 7" but mine is only at 6". Yes i know that you are supposed to be able to adjust this but my screw has no room to adjust the height any further up.

Pull your pedal assembly and weld it. It probably has a ton of play in it. Check it, and if it does, go here:
