I did some searching here on tuners and found a few things but I don't have the exact same symptoms.

I currently have a ACT 2100 puck clutch installed. I have had it in there for about 9k miles and I actually learned how to drive stick with it as well. Before that the car was automatic.

I am having a problem that just seemed to start. While driving I have trouble getting it into gear, mainly 1st - 4th. I have to play around with it awhile or press hard. If i go into reverse it grinds most of the time and makes a nasty noise. I don't have to much of a problem with 5th.

When the car is off, I can easily go through the gears.

You might want to check the shift cables that sits on the transmission. Make sure that when you put it into gear, that everything corresponds. Remember that DSM shift cables are adjustable. I had the same problem once and I had to adjust everything/every gear. It was a complicated.

Heres the thing though, if it was an issue like that, shouldn't that happen when the car is off as well?

When my car is off, everything shifts great. When it is on or when it is moving, then i have a problem.

im having the same issue, mine is from 1-2 and reverse. its your clutch pedal assy. there is a bracket on the end of the clutch etention that moves the clutch action from the pedal to the master cylender. that bracket is moving on the end of the shaft. i have been told that you have to pull that assy out and weld it back together. that is a project that im going to work on next week. i will give updates when complete. :thumb:

Do you have a picture of this bracket that is moving? I was looking under my dash and moving the clutch but I didn't see anything moving that wasn't the pedal. Everything seems to be ok under there.

What kind of tranny fluid are you using? When was the last time you changed it? Is your clutch properly adjusted? Have you been banging gears for the last 9k?

Pull the pedal towards you, if you moves, you need to pull the assembly out and weld it or replace it.

This sounds the exact problem I was having, I would check and make sure there is no leaks through your clutch system and make sure and mainly check your slave and master clutch cylinders and make sure your clutch is bled properly maybe go ahead and rebleed it but most likely it is your master cylinder which is what is connected to your clutch pedel and if it is still good it probably just needs adjusting because what was happening with mine was it was not fully ingageing the clutch so anytime my car was on and i would go to shift i would have the pedal down all the way but it would grind and be so hard to get in gear weather or not i was tryin 1st gear reverse or whatever so I would check that if I were you.

I greatly appreciate all the feedback!

I am currently running Redline MT 90 fluid.

What is the best way to test to see if it is a problem with the master or if its a problem with the slave?

The slave is on the bottom of the tranny and the master is on the pedal I would check the black part of the master where the rod go's in is where you would most likely see fluid if there is a leak, and the slave is really simple just check it real good to make sure there is no fluid leaking out of that either. That should get ya started to finding the problem.

Adjust the push rod on the master cylinder and go from there. I remember my 6 puck unsprung used to slip. I thought to myself there is no way in hell this clutch is going to slip. It turned out that I had the push rod all the way out; I adjusted it and it was fine.

Now im pretty much sure its the clutch. We thought the clutch was worn down, so we adjusted the rod on the clutch pedal that goes to the master. It went into gear after doin so. However after several minutes, the clutch is making a bad noise but stops when the clutch is engaged/disengaged, I can' t remember which!
