So I was on my way to do some Christmas shopping and for some reason, the car won't shift into any gear. I pulled over and turned the car off. The car will shift when the engine isn't running, but when you try to start it in gear, the car lunges forward, almost as if the clutch isn't disengaging. I tried adjusting the clutch pedal, that didn't work. I checked the hydraulic lines and there are no leaks and there is plenty of fluid in the reservoir. I had my friend pump the clutch and I checked to see if the slave was moving in and out, it was. But when he did this, I could see the slave itself moving back and forth, as if the bolts holding it to the transmission are loose. I also had him run through all the gears to see if there was any binding, which there isn't. I replaced the master cylinder, slave cylinder, TOB, pivot ball, release fork - all of which are OEM, clutch disk (full face) and pressure plate (ACT 2100). So this leads me to believe that the clutch is messed up and I don't have a garage at school to tear it apart and check anything. If anyone has any insight, I would greatly appreciated it. Why does this have to happen during Finals week right before Christmas? :(
