I just recently installed the ACT 2100 clutch into my 90 Talon TSi, and also installed a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.. I bled it and everything but it seems like its not holding pressure.. Its ok if I pump it 5 or 6 times, but then a couple minutes later it seems to wanna stick to the floor again and Im not sure why.. did I just not bleed it good enough(and if so does anyone have any good tips on how to bleed it) or is there anything else that would cause it to do this?

for the pedal pressure issue... i would look into the master cylinder, i had this problem a couple of months ago..i couldn't figure it out because i had just replaced the master cylinder and the slave cylinder..well come to find out the master cylinder piston seals were leaking inside and the fluid was bypassing the piston just a little bit..i went through 2 different new master cylinders both did the same thing. my advice would be to go with oem parts only on this. did you buy an aftermarket master cylinder?

I just replaced my clutch master cylinder for this issue two months ago. It was a NAMCO unit purchased from www.thepartsbin.com. I assumed it was OEM. Maybe it's not. It just seems odd that I have the same issue that caused me to change the master cylinder in the first place. Maybe I have an air leak somewhere else. I'll have time later next week to check. It's working great, right now, so I'm not too worried about it. Thanks, guys.

I know this thread is being dug up from the grave, but I wanted to update it since I found the issue. I was going through and tightening all the fittings between the master and slave cylinder and checking for leaks, when I found that the feed-tube from the resevoir down to the master cylinder was kinked. The funny thing is that it was probably kinked on the previous master cylinder, as well, meaning that I replaced it for nothing. Anyway, I didn't really think this was going to solve my problem, but I bought some new tubing and installed it with a little more length, so that it wouldn't kink again. Now my clutch position stays constant, and my pedal feels much stiffer. All is well, and has been for about a week now. :thumb:

i went to bleed my clutch and remove all the old fluid from it.. drained it all out.. bled it .. did the steps... keep resevoir topped off pump 3 times hold in, crack open bleeder valve then tighten it shut, let off clutch, push up with hand etc.. used the tube going down from the bleeder valve into a cup of my fluid submerged.. maybe im not doing something right? clutch gets pressure but doesnt feel nothing like it did before.. is it possible to open the bleeder valve up to much? everytime i opened it, i opened it all the way and it would spit fluid into my container i was using.. was doing alot of research and i seen alot of the probs are from bad master cylinders.. well checked that didnt look like the prob altho it had oil on it pretty much.. any help? and i noticed when i push down the clutch SLOW very SLOW.. and let off it will stay.. but if i just push it in normal it comes back like it should.. please help
