clutch drops to the floor when pressed

So I have had my car back from the mechanic for about 2 days, it had sat for roughly 3 years prior to me replacing the engine. I have been driving with no issues for about 300 miles. I went on break at work today and decided to run to the store for a redbull, was a little difficult to get into gear on the way there, when I left the store I got in and went to start my car and my clutch literally fell when I touched it. Any ideas on what it might be or a quick fix so I can get home?

Sounds like your slave cylinder went out

Start it in gear and drive really slow home. Shut the car off for red lights and restart it to go again. You can shift without the clutch, but it's very hard on the trans and difficult to get down without slamming into gear.

If the slave cylinder's shot, replace the master as well -- it's a ticking bomb

Depends on what the issue is. The slave cylinder is on the front of the transmission, fairly easy to get to to check. Jack up the front of the car and eyeball it. If it looks okay, then look for leaks in the line from the clutch master cylinder and check the footwell inside the car for wetness. Post your findings.
