My car is a 1990 laser fwd turbo. I have done some searching and have not really found anything that fits my problem exactly. Here it goes my clutch will not disengage or return properly. I know this sounds like other threads but theres more. after reading the other threads I naturally decided to look into my pedal. So I layed on the floor and while watching the master rod I pressed the clutch pedal in slowly and it began pushing the rod immediately then while the pedal was still slowly being pushed in it hit a spot where the pedal was still moving but the rod stopped then after a second the rod began to move again. Now its my understanding that if it was the pedal itself it wouldn't begin moving the rod immediately which is why im here now. Im thinking it could maybe be my master cylinder Does this sound like a logical conclusion? Sorry for the long post I wanted to be as detailed as possible to save time and avoid confusion in my troubleshooting progress. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank You
