Clutch Debating

I have done some research and seem to be stuck between some clutch choices. I am going to be running a ~300whp FWD DD with some race. I am leaning towards the SPEC stage 2+ but the South Bend clutches don't sound too bad. I have heard a lot of bad about the ACT's. Please reply with some info and suggestions.

I've talked to buschur racing about clutches because i too have been looking into that. I don't anticipate more than 325whp and buschur told me that for dsms they recommend the ACT 2100 for my setup. If you plan on adding more horsepower in the future I would recommend a ACT 2600, but for your setup a 2100 will be more than plenty. All my buddies run 2600s and have never had a problem with their clutches.

If you search this site ACT is probably the most recomended clutch I dont know where you are hearing a lot bad about them but I would say go with the ACT 2100 would probably do you but I personaly recomend the 2600 that way if you do any thing else your clutch is for sure to handle it. I run the 2600 and love it.

Consensus among wisemen is that ACT is the best. Of course there are many other good clutches, and you may be happy with another, but ACT is by far the most popular DSM replacement clutch.
