Hey guys and gals, I searched for this and found numerous threads but none had a real "definitive" answer to them.

Whenever the clutch is pushed in and out there is clicking at the same points each time. When I push in it is about halfway, and release it is at the top of the swing.

It just started this evening, I had my clutch done about two-three weeks ago with no problems since. I read in different threads that it could be the master cylinder, worn out assembly, or even crankwalk. Is there any way to better diagnose what it is, seeing as I don't have the money to try different things.

Did you do the clutch yourself? If you had someone do it I'd take it back to them and have them check it out. My old GSX did this for at least 10,000 miles but it never seemed to cause a problem.

Is the pedal assembly clicking or the clutch itself? If it's the pedal, there is a plastic cap at the end of the return spring. Sometimes (I believe) the spring and the cap bind or otherwise get moved out of place and it results in a clicking when the pedal is pushed down and comes back up. When this happened to my car, I had the clutch pedal return spring assembly replaced.

Its definitely not the clutch pedal assembly that is making the noise, it is coming from inside the transmission bell. I read a thread earlier saying that there is a sleeve that the throw out bearing rides on that gets stuck and the hydraulics either force it to move or the pressure plate does and that is why there is a sticking feeling along with creaking coming from the transmission-

I will have to take my damn tranny back out to find out for sure if that is the cause...
