Well as the title says when I let off the throttle the fidanza 3.2 chatters a bit for a second or two. Anyone know why? It did chatter a bit when I first put it in but now it doesn't.

Any help would be great.

The transbolts are tight it only makes the noise on decel.

Push in the clutch and noise goes away?
I've had a similar problem for a while now. I just learned to live with it - it hasn't gotten worse.
I remember reading somewhere that the upgraded torsion damper springs on the clutch friction disc provide less torsion twist in general. The torsion damper springs remove speed fluctuations/pulses from the crankshaft and driveline. This helps prevent noise/vibration.

*Edit* Didn't see this was a 4-puck. With this more aggressive style your going to have chatter regardless.

Unless the noise is still there when you push in the clutch/ pop it out of gear. Then you have other issues.

Well it is a 4 puck sprung disc. Its not getting louder and no noise when it in netural or when the clutch is pushed in

Thats pretty normal with a 4 puck. A friend of mine has a twin disk and that thing chatters ALLL THEEE TIMMEEEE. It's just more mechanical noise to make you feel like a badass :)

I think it's just the "nature of the beast" with a 4puck. Post#2 seems to make some sense.
My dsm's i've had that had a lot of miles on the tcase, give a little howl on decel and act similar to what you say. My current one does pretty much the same thing you're describing with a fidanza/act2600

Yeah its kinda embarassing. oh well.

Now its chattering at an idle...

I am starting to think I might have to tear it down again to see whats going on.. I have contacted Fidanza and they told me the chatter is normal on decel. Now today it chattering at an idle.

Did you use an OEM throw out bearing? If not, get one!
