Last night my car started acting up bad. Clunks real bad while turning and going straight more so in the lower rpms. By clunking I mean it studders and lurches real bad. I jacked it up and it doesnt look like cv shaft. Jacked up you can spin one wheel freely for a while and then the other side catches sometimes. Sometimes it will just keep spinning for 5 revolutions then it will catch. Is this the transfer case of something else.

which wheels are you talking about? front or rear? and tell us more details about your revolution and etc... i mean when you turn the wheel and the other start to turn after 5 rev... is this for example the front and the rear one? or side by side

ok, i've read the other side in your post. if you can turn one side and the other won't turn with it, that's the side gear and the cross or pin in the diff that has failed. you might open your tranny and take a look at the front diff to see if any damage are appearent.

Took it to work today and put it on the lift. I put it into gear and let out of the clutch, all but the left front wheels were spining is this normal. The tranny guy said it could be the final drive gear, since is jolts real hard in all the gears. I bucks while turning corners even with the clutch pushed in. So it is most likely the tranny? I looked up jacks transmissions and they look to be legit, any reviews.

this is your FRONT diff. the side gears in the diff are broken or the pin is broken. this is what are causing your weird sound and your wheel to unroll when the others are rolling.
But if your are more lucky, it can be your left cv axle that is broken.
