Hey guys I am putting together my rebuilt head and was wondering when I put on the CAS if I have to clock it a certain way with the tabs or what? Also when I put on the cam gears do the cams have to be a certain direction? Thanks Guys!

They cam gears can only go one way. You want to make sure that the motor is TDC and the gears are closest to be timed. The CAS you should start at mid range lined up for TDC. You do this by finding the groove on the outside of the tab, (one has a groove, one doesnt) which will face the front of the car. And install.

Cams should have a dowel that will line up with the gears.

You must time the vehicle with a timing light after getting the CAS installed.

Ok thanks guys because the engine is out of the car right now. So where is top dead center with the marks facing side by side?
