My stepdad has a 95 Eclipse GS-T auto and upon taking off the steering wheel realized that there is a clockspring in the way of mounting the aftermarket steering wheel. Is there a way of removing this clockspring somehow? Or bypassing it? Or possibly extending the wires feeding into it and hiding it where ever i see fit? :banghead:

You ever find something?
You simply unplug it and remove it after taking off the 4 screws holding it in place.

Then you get a hub adapter. Here’s the one I used:

yeah I did the same. there is a write up on here on how to get the horn to work. I also used the kyostar adapter but had to use a washer underneath tge mounting bolt to fully bolt the adapter on all the way. there was a tiny bit of wiggle that bugged me.

also without a quick release adapter or spacer the horn button will not fit over the center bolt
