ok guys i need advice here. i have a 95 gst that im in the process of redoing. im looking for a good suspension set up. the shocks that i have in there now are shot and way to bouncy so i need to know what would be a good shock to put in there and are coil springs worth the effort of putting them in as well?

What you get as a replacement will depend on 2 main things:

What are you planning to do with the car?

What's your budget?

Ah. What I meant was is this going to be a daily driver? A car that seems some track time? A full blown race car?

As far as budget, you can spend $200 and get some GR-2s to replace your blown shocks, or you can spend upwards of $7000 to get some serious coilovers.

Then it really comes down to how much you want to spend. There's a lot of recommendations out there for good shock/spring combos. I wouldn't want to go with anything too stiff, as that would decrease comfort on the street.

thats y im trying to get some recomendations on what to use.
The SEARCH function would be a good thing to use. ;)

Check out the Handling forum. Good setups for all aspects of driving these things.

y =/= why

Lando's advice is the best.

My brother has a KYB AGX/H&R Race setup, and he uses it as a daily driver.

Used Eibach Pro's with just your normal Monroe Sensatrack's rode like a dream. Stock nice ride with the lower stance. That was on a '95 tsi.

I think you will be very happy with your Tein springs. I had Tein Coilovers on my old 99 eclipse. Handled like a dream. I am now kind of at a crossroads with my "new" 99 eclipse as far as what route to take suspension wise. PM me and let me know how the Tein springs are for you.
