1G Clean up welded aluminum

Yep. Depending on the finish you want you could just use some aluminum polishing compound on that and it'll shine right up. If you want the weld smoothed down, sand then polish.

I sprayed some clear coat on my tubing, shined it right up and removed a few minor scratches. I guess polish will do the same too.

This is what I've done with my 2g FMIC, needs another sanding another coating, but it looks amazing. Ever-wet type look.
