There is a sharp, clanking and or clunking noise coming from the driver rear wheel area when in constant speed or coasting between 10-50mph.
The faster the car moves the faster the clank gets.
But when the brake is pressed, and or when the E-brake is pulled up 3 clicks, this clanking/clunking stops.
It does not sound like worn brake pads/rotors or scraping of any kind. It is a definite "clank". It sounds like it is coming from within the wheel, maybe even suspension, and not rims or loose lug-nuts... It only stops when brakes are pressed or when the e-brake is slightly pulled.
Been driving like this for over 5 or so months.. It hasn't really bothered me unit this week -- It's gotten a lot louder.
I've taken the wheel off, and inspected obvious things, but nothing seemed loose..?
I'm stumped -- any ideas? I've searched the forums, but nothing pertains to my issue -- most of it was when somebody hit a bump, mines constant.
