christmas came early this year

so after lots of reading and thinking, ive decided to get all the supporting mods for my car before the turbo. so a few days ago I ordered an Apex'i SAFC-II, a TurboXS Type H-RFL BOV, a Apex'i N1 catback, and a Walbro 255. Next order im thinking injectors, fuel rail, FPR, cam gears, and perhaps cams.

A friend and I are going to try and get everything installed this weekend. We will also be doing the timing belt, balance shaft belt, and water pump at the same time.

So what do you think of the setup so far? any tips on installing this stuff is greatly appreciated.

You can get an EVO maf for under $80 and it will flow enough for 550whp+.

The 2g MAF is good up to around (of course others have pushed it) to about 2600 mhz. That is around 58+ lb/min. Unless you're running 10's or are pushing that much air, I wouldn't worry about overrunning the stock 2g MAF for a long time. I'd concentrate on pushing your stock 14b to the limit first.

He is suggesting that you pick up a 2G mas for $30, a very common 1G upgrade which is what I'm using. If you doubt how much it can flow, check out my profile.
