I kind of agree with mork on the "new" aspect of the car. For example if someone is selling a product that is 10years old but the box has never been open wouldn't it still be considered new or would it automatically be used since its old? If someone (not an average person) was looking to buy a new spyder where else could he get one? And to get a "new" 10 year old car thats the price they might have to pay. I personally would never pay that much. But I'm an average guy who would rather buy a used one instead of paying the high price.

But I do get where your coming from phunny with your argument. Like I said I would never pay that much and I'm sure most of us on this forum wont as well, but I'm sure their are others out there that might.

phunny 1 the mork 0 hahaha

Ok, lets be mature about this now. Its not a competition its an opinion.

Wish the picture was still up!

In regards to the comments I agree with the new idea. In my opinion if someone was to buy this car they would not buy it to drive it around like it was a DD. It would be someone who is familiar with appreciating assets, if I had 18k kicking around I'd buy it and store it for 30 years, because it would be worth a TONNE of money in the end.

If you don't believe me look at where the market is for classic cars now..

To each his own, but to me "new" means;
Never used
Latest tech
Modern design
Needs no work

And this car imho does not meet any of those criteria. You could say that the design of the car looks good, which I think 2G's are sexy, but modern.... Not sure if I'd agree with that. And it has 2,000 miles on it.

This car will never be a collectors item. You might find an enthusiast that might give you 20k, but I wouldn't think the cost of storing it and maintaining it would be worth it for 20 years.

Does this make more sense?
