well it looks clean but what about miles, has it been wrecked, check the turbo for shaft play hes running the big 16 on stock f/p and injectors ??? no s-afc ?? i got mine with the same mods and "supporting" mods for the big 16 and my car had a new jdm 4g63 in it that only had 3k miles on it not to include it was a 1st place taker at the 3 shows it went to i even got the trophies when i bought the car and i got mine for 4400$$ i thought it was a steal ohh and all axles had been replaced depending on miles would be the way i make my decision i waited 5 months an looked for mine befor i bought it and i had to fly to go pick it up but well worth it i will e-mail you some pic's to compare that to mine and see what you think but i dont know how hard it is or what the asking price in your area is but this is what i got for 4400$

I doubt anyone else will give him $5K for it. However, how many more are in your area? How tough are they to find, and how bad do you want it? The car will be worth what the seller gives for it. If it's worth that much to you, then so be it.
I gave a bit extra for my '95, but it was just what I was wanting, and to me the few hundred extra weren't as valuable to me as the car was. So there you are.

I've seen very few of these around here - so it's a pretty rare find. It's got 111,000 miles which is kinda high (especially for a turbo motor) but this guy has taken meticulous care of this car. I'll be meeting the guy in about 2 1/2 hours so I'll tell y'all how it went. The reason he's asking 5k is that he says he bought a new truck and doesn't have to sell it, but if he gets good money for it he'll sell.

111k miles is pretty low for the year of the car. My 95 GSX has 120k miles on it.

well my current car (non-dsm) is a '92 with 71,xxx. I'm guess I'm just spoiled by such low milage.

Update 8/3 --
This guy kept putting off my seeing the car, said he had family down so I agreed to meet him another day. Come Monday (second day to meet him about it) he says he's got something else to do. Well, I went to see the car today on the lot before I went to meet him and uh-oh, the car is moved. Ok, he just washed it. Went to go meet up with him at 5:30 as planned, and the car is moved AGAIN. Not looking so good. 5:35, 5:40, time to call.

Turns out he sold the car from under me, earlier that day. Knowing full well I was going to meet him that day a few hours later. I had cash in hand, too. So, no awesome Talon cuz the guy decided to be a jerkoff and sell it out from under me. Some people.. goes to show you something about buying used cars.

Not to go too far off topic but i wanted to know if my deal was a good one.

I got a 98 GSX wit front and rear strut bars, cleared corners, injen intake, and a greddy cat back. The paint was unbelivable Only minor rock chips. And i swore to my cusin who had a 99 gst that i would get a gsx... the one he really wanted.

Oh yeah this thing also only had 50k miles on it!!!

The only problem is the price i got it at was 14k :thumbdown

Is this good?

Well i love the thing and it was the ONLY one that i've found in such awesome condition.
