I've heard that with anything bigger than a 6 cylinder in a jeep, the torque curve is too high in the rpms, so you have to over-rev when you're wheeling, and more stuff is likely to break. Had any experience with this?

Hell yeah man i've gawn through 3 sets of rear axle shafts, snapped my front axle shaft U-joints a couple times, completely ripped a spring shackle off the frame, and twisted my rear drive shaft in half. Torque is a bi*** it breaks everything, thats only some of the stuff thats happened.

94s had about 280 ft/lbs and 95+ 5.2s had 300. Some minor change?

I got a 94 and it has spun all the wheels from a stop in the rainOMG . Mine is stock and it gets 10city and 15-16 on the hw. I woundn't want to think what it would be like with mods like that modded oneOMG

I was actually going to buy a 98 5.9 recently but with the miles on it could be a big money pit and I have enough cars for now.
They only made 15000. Classic.

I was thinking and I believe the 93-94 had 285 ft/lbs before someone corrects me.

The 5.9s MUST have premium fuel. A person would have to be a little crazy to want one now when gas is going to be $3 this summer.
