Check engine light with misfire codes need help.

i have a 97 gsx automatic with moderate mods and about a month ago i replaced all the spark plugs with ngk bpr7es gapped at .026,new ngk me77 wires,new fuel filter and pcv...before replacing all these things i kept getting a check engine light for P0300 and still with all the new stuff i keep getting these codes?... im running a walbro 255 without a afpr and i dont have a wideband.....

i keep getting these 2 codes:

P0304 CYLINDER 4 MISFIRE
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P1150 Fuel pressure solenoid malfunction

I kept getting those damn misfire codes fairly consistently, like every month or two. The plugs and wires were fine. I finally replaced the 10 year old ignition coil pack and I haven't had any CEL's since. The car seems to idle better as well. Just throwing that out there as something to try. Good luck.
p.s. you might want to consider getting an AFPR installed.

yea i know i need a afpr and wideband so i can really know whats goin on with the car....i bought the car this way though so now im fixing all the problems...i really think it is my coil pack since it is a 12yr old car....

Well a wide-band isn't a tell-all when a hard part fails. Learn to not depend on computers and start testing parts. Suspect your coil-pack and check the power transistor. Maybe your injector in cylinder 4 is bad. Grab a manual and a multimeter and start diagnosing. Don't just throw parts at it.

its not throwing random parts at it when you need it.
afpr would fix the fpr code.

and as for the random misfire,
check all your wires, coil pack, power transister( i had the same problem ended up being this)
and if all of that checks out, then maybe consider regapping the plugs to.028
most people only run .026 when at higher boost levels... just a thought

Well I am running 19psi....like I said I put new wires and plugs and I'm still getting misfires.

nope but i am droppin my car off to ams this week so they can fix whatever is wrong with it so ill let u guys know how it goes and what it was.

If you cleaned the engine bay soon before the code arrived, this could be it. Silly me, I did the same thing and sure enough, the coil pack was bad. The coil pack doesn't like water. This is just a starting place, but I hope it helps.

is it ok to get water on your air filter when goin threw a touchless carwash? i always go threw it and i look at my k/n filter and it has water on sum of it...
