im learning a lot since i bought my gsx 4 months ago but i have a problem here with my 97 gsx...

My car has been at ams for 1week now and they did a engine compression test and it checked good also did a boost n vac leak test and replaced whatever was leaking so i have no leaks now.....they replaced my lower fuel injector seals because they were leaking replaced fuel filter, pcv, spark plugs ngk bpr7es .026 gap and new taylor 8mm ignition wires. checked coil pack and it was fine.

all this work and they still keep getting a cel light for misfire so i dunno what else it can be?
this is costing me a lot of money and its hurting what do you suggest i do?

it has 125k miles...

What is the exact code they are getting? PXXX?

not sure but its a misfire code. i will know more info tomorrow there gonna test the coilpack and swap the wires with some others maybe the wires i got are defected who knows...

.032" is spec for the spark plug gap. but if it isnt the coil pack, CAS, mechanical timing, or ignition timing then i would think its the ECU. i cant think of anything else as of now, but if anyone else knows of anything please chime in. i hope this helps you out

also which code is it? the multiple misfire code, or the misfire on X cylinder code? and if the latter, then which cyl. is it?

.032? na buddy im boostin over 14lbs! LOL i gap mines .028-.026......i will let u guys know the code tomorrow when ams gets back to me.

got my car back today and its still misfiring =[ i mean they replaced and tried alot of things and still the stupid codes kept commin up so i dunno how am i gonna pass emissions? any ideas?

i just put new taylor 8mm ignition wires and im still getting misfires :(

What is the exact code they are getting? PXXX?

the codes i keep getting are p0300 and p0303.

can it be my injectors are bad or really dirty? i mean i use bp 93 octane premium gas at all times and sometimes throw in cleaners. should i have the injectors pulled out and cleaned? can it be the timing causing this problem?

can it be my hi flow cat being clogged up or goin bad causin this? it seems my cat is goin bad my exhaust smells after driving the car for a while and im starting to get light smoke comming out of it when i cold start it which i never use to get before. i checked oil its full no leaks coolant is full and my turbo is fine no shaft play so i dunno what it can be?
