Check engine code

My check engine light came on, I got the code with a logger and it turned out to be the knock sensor. We cleared the code on the logger and now the light doesn't come on. If the code is cleared will the light not come back on or should the ecu recognize it again?

Never mind, found out that it should recognize the problem again. The knock sensor wiring must've been loose or maybe it wasn't plugged in all the way. Waste of a thread, my bad.
