Check Engine! Code 1400

Ok finally I was able to pull the trouble code from my car.
It was a 1400 DIFFERENTIAL PREASURE SENSOR OUT OF RANGE.
Ibelive this is the MAP SENSOR(manifold absolute preasure sensor) located in the top of the INTAKE MANIFOLD

Now for some reason on the turbo models the correct name is MDF (manifold diferential preasure)
I now that the samrt thing to do is to
-Check the o ring
-Check for a broken or lose conector
-The troble shoting guide on the scaner also sugested a PCM failure but I seriosly dout that because my car runs great!

Now has anyone around here had this code before??
Could there be something else besides the MDF to cause a this error code???
What else could I look for??
I youst want to be sure that the MDF is faulty before I buy it

Hey I have the same fault code on my 97 GSX and my car runs fine. Mitsu wants 125 for a new mdp sensor so I havent bought one yet. If you find anywhere cheap tell me ..... ill tell u if i find anywhere cheap.

You can probably get one from a junkyard cheap.

One reason it's sensing a bad pressure differential might be a sticky EGR. Before you go buying a bunch of parts, you might want to pull the EGR valve (under the intake manifold) and clean it to make sure it is working. I got a P 1400 after I washed the engine bay. Satan wanted $79 to look at it, ran it, disconnected battery, gone. Good luck.
