Cheapest big SMIC

Ok so lately i know ALOT of ppl who have been getting pulled over here in SoCAL. I am getting worried that getting a FMIC isnt the best plan since the cops seem to be cracking down HARD. So i thinking about doing a big SMIC for my E16G. I DO NOT want a Supra SMIC just wanted to get that out of the way.

So the question is does anyone know where i can get a cheap SMIC? So far i have only found 2:
1. Dejontools- $450
2. HRC- $500

Because cops in Cali are crazy and they are cracking down hard out there. I hear they are trained to know mods on cars and read importuner/Superstreet for there training.

It sucks,Cali is just trying to eliminate modified street cars completley.. Glad im in michigan where stuff like this isnt to bad just yet, but it snows like biatch here

Anyways about the SMIC...I really dont know any other ppl selling smics. Besides what you listed. But i guess i would go Dejontool. Actually come to think of it i have heard of a company called Alamo that i believe makes smics for dsms. Not 100% sure though..

yes California has the STRICTEST (sp?) rules when it comes to modding your car. The ADFX one is also $500 but thank you for your imput. If i cant find a cheaper than Dejontool i will get the biggest SMIC.

I just did a search on the Alamo IC and i think thats out of the question its $720. However, it is the biggest SMIC so far 8" x 8" x 6", with 2.5" Inlet/Outlet but that is too much money IMO

I decided to make a little chart of the BIG SMIC for the 2G

Alamo - 8" x 8" x 6", with 2.5" Inlet/Outlet - $720
ADFX - 8" x 9" x 4.5", with 2.5" Inlet/Outlet - $499
Dejon- 9.5" x 9" x 4", with 2.25" Inlet/ 2.5" Outlet - $449
HRC - 10" x ?? x 4.5", with 2.25" Inlet/ Outlet - $499

It doesn't make a difference here. The cops SEE the FMIC with their own two eyes, and they can pull you over if they're having a bad day or something.

Seems like I read somewhere that the Greddy front mount was CARB legal? Am I wrong?

I don't need one yet, still got the T25, but when the time comes, i'll probably go with the Dejon side mount.

I feel your pain bro. There's a lot of people down here in SoCal that are actually taking their front mounts off for that reason. I'll be sticking with a sidemount also.......most likely a Supra sidemount though. It's the cheapest and will still look semi-stock at emissions.
California law is not getting any better so "stealth" is the way to be. Good luck to you.
