Chassis code questions

Alright, well i've always thought of the second generation Eclipses as hacing the D32A code, but this site ( http://www.geocities.com/eclipse_j/custam.html which also has some pretty nice cars on it. ) has thrown me off. They say that the 2Gb code is D31, and for some reason the GSX is D33. Any of this hold true, or was something lost in translation?

Yep, the codes for 2Gs from CAPS are:

D31A NT FWD
D32A Turbo FWD
D33A Turbo AWD
D38A Turbo Spyder
D39A 2.4L Spyder

But would an Eclipse and Talon chassis code be the same? I would assume so. If so, this is what I found:

1G:

D22A= GS Turbo
D27A= GSX

2G:

D32 = GS-T
D33A= GSX

Yes. Those are correct and the 1.8L NA FWD is D21A
