Ok so I decided to upgrade the Fp black, I intended to go with the borgwarner s364sxe however the it doesn't fit my bottom mount manifold. I then called Adp turbo to build a custom t3 journal bearing turbo. That didn't work out and I called Extreme psi and ordered a pte 6266 ballbearing turbo. So my question involves oiling this turbo. I have two options, running a 4an line off the ofh with a restrictor or running a filter line off the head. My balance shafts are deleted but I'm running .003 oil clearances so my oil pressure isn't bad. I should be ok running from the head
No?

You need to know what the oil requirements are, then make a decision based on that.

It took trial and error on my part to get the feed for my FP BB turbos. I had to enlarge the black filter hole a tad and feed from the head to be in specs. I did all this with a 4an swivel fitting that had a 1/8npt port I threaded a gauge into.

Haven't decided what I want to do with the wastegate. Dump or recirculate. Turbo will be in tmrw

How did you find out the s364 would not fit? I have the same exhaust manifold and am curious so I can know for myself what turbos will not work.
The website jmfab says the manifold will only fit "s" covers. The borgwarner is more in line with a h cover, which is larger. It may fit but you might have to dent your water pipe. I didnt want to do that....If that would even be enough idk.

I have run like 4 DBB turbos with little to high boost. Always fed from the OFH (yes, no BS) with the FP filter/restrictor (not the black) setup and the other restrictor on the turbo oil feed. No issues.
This is exactly how I've fed all my bb turbos. Fp restrictor/filter off the ofh, -4an line to the turbo with a .035" restrictor/apapter for the -4an line.
