Changing all fluids

I will be changing all my fluids here soon. The coolant is pretty easy and self explanatory.

1. How do I change the power steering fluid? I have a vac pump so just suck the old out with it and put the new in? What kind of power steering fluid should I use? Dexron 6, or just plain power steering fluid?

2. What type of transmission fluid should I use for my 95 GST Manual?

3. Coolant will get drained then add new 50/50 mix in. Let car run for 15 with heat on high then check level after its cooled down again correct?

I use B & G fluids for my GSX. Look them up on google and you will be able to find a shop or place that sells them around you. Apparently you cant get transmission, differential fluid from the dealer unless you get a drum which is like 500.00 bucks. Damn MD dealers.

For the coolant fill her up. Then blast the heat, leave your cap open and you"ll see the air bubbles come out and it will get a lil messy. After you dont see anymore bubbles add a lil more.

Automatic Transmission Fluid "Dextron II" is what you will use in the steering system, not power steering fluid.

Answer to question #1. (ATF) or (power steering fluid) will work just fine.

Answer to question #3. That is fine, but you can also back flush the system to be on the safe side.

For the transmission I use Redline MT-90, that is what Sheppard recommends.

I use nothing but Mitsubishi gear oil for the trans. Hard to find you say? Expensive you say?

To be honest. I never looked online. When i called the dealers around here thats what they said. I even had somebody else call because i thought they were blowing smoke....I have found a place then

Thanks guys. Got it all changed today except for tranny and power steering. Power steering looked new.
