Center Tail Light Cover

Hey guys,

I own a 98 Eclipse with a cracked center tail light. Instead of replacing it with another 'light' I am thinking about getting one of those paintable covers that match the body of the car (like the one in the pic attached). You see them often on show cars and modded rides. So far I have been unable to find them anywhere except for one on Ebay. Does anyone know where I can find one of these or are they something that has to be custom made? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Most people paint the center tail light. If yours is crack then you gona have to find a new center piece and paint it unless you want to paint over the crack or something.
I don't think they make covers for it. Most people here paint their center piece.

Chances are that isnt a custom cover, just the center piece removed and painted. I did it to mine, looks great ... and as for the Diamond star logo, you can pick one up at your local Mitsubishi dealer for around $8 - $10 ... and as for the crack in your lens... seeing that it probably isn't paintable, put up a wanted in DSM tuners classifieds, i'm sure theres someone who added tail lights who has that piece left over... it's not like it matters what color it is either, because ## gonna paint it anyways ... and you could probably find a can of paint at your local auto parts store... it was Monarch Green Pearl for me! ... ahh! u got to it first greddy gst... stupid slow computer!...
