My Cd player and keyless entry stopped working for some reason this morning. Are they on the same fuse? It is an aftermarket deck and the amp it is connected to was recently unplugged because it was draining the car's battery.

Any ideas? Could I need to get the deck replaced or is it a fuse or wiring problem? How can I tell if a fuse is blown? Don't they turn black or burnt?

To they may share the same acc , But I am not sure..... A blown fuse is easy to spot the metal will be broken and burned from one blade of the fuse to the other this prevents voltage flow....

What deck is it?

also is it a factory keyless or aftermarket?

Why was your amp drawing on your battery.......
Who installed your deck, Keyless and your amp sub?

Alpine deck alpine amp (speakers still powered by stock amp)
Factory Keyless entry and alarm

Magnolia High fi here in beaverton did the sub, amp and deck install. Worked fine for over a year until my car started dying and had to be jumped four times until the amp was disconnected from the battery at the terminal. Deck ran for four days and then all these other problems started creeping up.

do you have a install warranty? You should check, There should be NO reason for the sub amp to draw current if it was done properly and the really is only thing you could get wrong is where you tap the Turn on lead * the small usually blue turn on lead at the amp * its easy to tell if this is wrong since the amp will remain on if the car is off...or you have a wire shorted

You have the factory Infinity system in your car right, It should be bypassed though since you put a deck in it, it will not run with speaker level output from that alpine... You might check the acc fuse in the car it could be blown....The factory amp is under the passenger seat if i remember right...

Do the door locks work without the keyless entry? And check the batteries in the remote?

Where did you get the deck? Almost sounds like there may be a issue with the Deck itself.
Try the reset button on the deck its under the faceplate its a tiny orange or black button that is about big enough to hit with the tip of a pen, Sorta just looks like a hole in the plastic..

I have a 4 year warranty with magnolia. Getting it check ed this sunday

I have the factory infinity system, I'll check the remote batteries and the ACC fuse when I get home tonight.

Tried the reset switch on the deck and it didn't work. The electric locks work even without the keyless.
Also I noticed the factory security alarm doesn't come on anymore. Or at least the green "security light" in the dash doesn't come on.

Replaced the radio fuse and the ac fuse but interior lights, security and keyless still don't work. Amp and deck are being sent out for repair. Could the installer have wired things incorrectly to the point that it would fry all these components or the fusable links? I have the DSM shop manuals and almost all the trouble spots say replace the ecu. :(

Is there a fuse I might be missing that links all these? If so what amp does it run 10, 15, 20 etc. I thought hey were all tied to the radio.

wow, Have you had your alternator checked, it could be overcharging and causing stuff to blow fuses, But a BCM sounds Possible if you get more and more problems, have you removed it and check the capacitors or condition?

On our cars probably not gonna be that dramatic if a installer makes a mistake, You have something else REALLY messed up, Did you do a current draw test when the car is off to see if maybe you might have a short.

I would start tracing harnesses for burns or damage to the housing, Find your panel with all your acc fuses and follow those wires in both directions....
