ok....i've searched around and cant find ANY other cat-back system for the 1g NT other than the pacesetters?...has anyone had experience with this cat-back?...or are there any other options to getting a better exhaust system? please help...i JUST bought a 93 eclipse GS an want to make it sound and perform better!

99% of people say that pacesetter is horrible, they are right, there is that 1% that get something good, but it's rare. Get a custom exhaust made, just go to your local muffler shop, and they will make, install your exhaust, for a lot cheaper too, i got a quote for mine on a 1g n/t, and it as $150! Just make sure to buy your own muffler, the shop will want to sell you one of theres, but thats where they make there money, overpriced crap mufflers, haha.

ok...i just called the local muffler shop and they quoted me 125 for parts and labor an i have a muffler. i'm gettin 2.5 inch exhaust, will this work good?...plus if it is soo cheap to do it this way, how come cat-back systems are sooo expensive?

Its usually cheaper at your local shop because they press bend all there piping. and most if not all exhausts sold on the net are mandrel bent. Just get ya a muffler off ebay and take it down to your local shop and have it put on 2.5" Good Luck

I had a pacesetter catback I put on my 1g 4 years ago......basically it wouldnt work at first...it wouldnt bolt up to my cats flange so I had to basically cut off the flange from the pacesetter exhaust, cut off my cat and weld them together with a pipe in place...was definantly not a bolton....but for $147 shipped from summit racing for a 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust with a muffler and the proper hangers AND it sounded good with decent low end torque it wasnt was so bad as long as ya had a hacksaw and a welder...but now I think they go for like over $200 shipped now so it seems to be a better choice to go with a muffler shop and a nice stainless dynomax ultraflow 2 1/2 inch..whatever style ya prefer or a magnaflow...stay away from the ractives,3A racing, aerospeed cause the packings burn out and then they sound like fart cannons...the 4G63 NA doesnt sound like a bumblebee by the way with an exhaust if your worried about that...actually better than a turbo in my opinion...well good luck bro
