Casting Flaw?

So I'm having a fitment problem. This is a new turbo, as you can see in the picture the 7cm turbo to manifold gasket doest fit perfect. Its not that bad, the gasket is barely overlapping the turbo inlet or circumference...if that's the best way to describe it. But what bothers me is the manifold bolts are rubbing against the gasket when I go to screw them in. So the threads on two of my bolts are kinda getting messed up. I tried a different gasket and the fitment was worse, it was a 6 ply MLS gasket. I couldn't get that one to work. I didn't have this problem on my mitsu 20g so I know this has to be some kind of flaw. Has this happen to anyone else? Should I make a complaint to the company?

Looks exactly like the one i have. Mine fits good. You paid for it and its not what you want. Send it back.

I guess I could live with it. It just seems when the holes were drilled and tap that they were off just a bit.

Did u try moving it around? Flip it over or change orientation.

Yes I tried all ways. No matter how I flip it the bolts are a tight fit and the threads rub. I might try a 6 ply gasket again and if I cant get it to fit like last time then I will contact the company.

Get a gasket from another manufacturer, and then see if it lines up better, if you get the same results then it's a good idea to mark the flawed area with a sharpie, and then carefully gasket match the housing with a die grinder.

I think his real problem is that the bolt holes aren't spaced appropriately and the bolts are therefore rubbing and destroying themselves.

Ya just call FP and see what they say. The holes on my Green are spot on and fit the gasket perfectly.

Ok so I'm just going to update this just incase someone else runs into the same issue. I tried a different brand gasket and it fits perfect. I got this gasket from MAP performance and it fits like a glove. So anyone running FP green, red, or black might want to consider this.
