Haven't seen anyone do this so I thought I'd try it, I think its looking good so far. Of course it can only be done with green top CAS's because of them being made of metal. But anywho, what do you guys think. I just about got the top done, and have started working on the sides. Doing it all with a dremel and polishing bars. There's some good nicks in my CAS that I don't think I'll be able to polish out..

Looks nice. What adapter in the dremel? What color polish bars?

I actually just started to do mine today. Just got my CAS in the mail and wanted to clean it up. Well, I ended taking off some of the green paint by accident and thought :ohdamn:  :hmm: :aha:. I really hope it doesn't rust. Anything to prevent it or will it even happen at all? I'm just doing the lid and leaving the center circle green for memories LOL.

I ended up just painting the cap with VHT gray paint. Close to the color of the body.

Yeah, shortly after polishing it I found out it was steel, so this is what I did...

Painted it all metallic silver with a red metallic clear coat. Camera sucks, but you can see.

Cap looks good. Would have liked the sides as well though.
