Cars that make you shake your head

You've got to be kidding me about the "500 HP Cavalier". Show me dyno charts, video of the dyno with him holding a ketchup bottle the entire time, and him running at the track. If he has 500 HP then my Auto GSX has 1,100 AWHP. Even if he DOES have 450-500 HP, he's not going ANYWHERE with those crappy tires, not to mention all the extra weight he's not only added to the interior, but all the other weight added to the outside of the car and that FUGLY body-kit which probably lifts the front end up, instead of providing any downforce. I'm honestly amazed he doesn't have a park bench sitting on the back, and a HUGE tack in the corner of the windshield.

On Topic: There are too many cars in my area that make me shake my head, but the ones that hurt the most are all the 2G N/T's with fart-cannons and LAWLtezza lights. Specifically theres two 2G N/T Eclipses nearby with half-assed spray painted body kits and fart cannons, and two Ford Focus 4 doors(ones older, ones the new style and has "sport" badges all over it and a body kit that came from the factory) that rev on me when I'm going the other way, but when we're door-to-door they don't even look at me.

I hate these Fast and Furious wannabe's.

I love the t3-t4 tards that took it from the tard on F&F. Good lord. I loved it when the kid bashed my 1g because I was running a 4g63 instead of a 420a. Hey did you know a 420a can take a 300 shot on a stock bottom end and 30 psi of boost?

I wanted to smack the kid. But didn't feel like going to jail.

just something i saw walking to my Apartment LOL its an LS

I'm sure my old GS will end up on here since so many assclowns on Youtube talk mad shit about it haha..I might as well be the guy to post it!

OMG what a riced out POS....Look at those big ricer wheels and the stupid paul walker bodykit. I think anymore you have to have a dirty rusted out car to NOT be called a ricer by your own fellow DSMers. I guess yall like to see trashed interiors ,ripped seats, rusted out engine bays and stock 14" wheels!! Cause I had another member on here say even my talon is riced out cause I have 18" wheels and a vent hole in my hood

I'm a bit confused by the ricer comments from a lot of people. What makes a car or a person a ''ricer''? If a person likes a body kit and big wheels and lowered suspension, that makes them a ricer? I think this blue car (pic posted middle of page 3 of this thread) is beautiful, and I'm a 41 year old Caucasian housewife, not a ricer, LOL. To me, the term ricer seems really derogatory.

It really depends on the individual what "ricer" really means. However in the general to quote from urban dictionary, "somone who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster..."

I've been into imports since '95 and always viewed a ricer as someone that focused on cosmetics instead of performance. Example a stock Honda Civic with a huge wing and body kit without any major performance upgrades. However some feel if you have a Civic with a bodykit at all you are a ricer no matter how fast you tried to make it.

If you google "ricer" you'll see some nice exaggerated examples of a ricer. :)

hmm, never thought of having a body kit and such as trying to make it 'look' faster. We don't really intend to make ours faster because it will be mainly my youngest son driving it come next spring when he turns 16. Stock is fast enough, IMO. But, we do want to put a body kit on it :) Mom will have fun with it while she can though, then I guess I will have to go back to my Outback in the spring ;)

I've been thinking about this lately. I saw a regular cavalier, older, nothing else aftermarket, dents hear and there, just a regular "commuter", beater car, but it had a huge aluminum wing on the back. I thought it was funny, but then I realized: Most people don't put the wings on because they have a "purpose" (i.e. everyone knows a FWD car doesn't need a wing) .....People put it on there because (in the case of the cavalier) it's either humurous or they like the look of it. Example: Why do Eclipse RS's, Grand Am's, Olds Alero's, etc. have a spolier on the back. Looks. Then you look at a Chysler Crossfire, although it's wing has purpose it looks stupid, IMO. So now when I see big wings on cars, I don't look at it as a bad thing, it's their personal taste. They may want a laugh or just like the look, I quit hatin' though...

EDIT: That blue GS on page 3 half-way down looks awesome. I would never dog it. It looks sweet! If you don't have a fast car, you might as well put on those (IMO) sweet rims on it. Not to mention the paint looks nice too, not r**e at all.

A lot of you guys might be too young, but anybody remember when the style for cars in the 80's were BIG tires in the back and smaller front one's on cars like Nova's and such? Looks ridiculous now that I look back, but it was REALLY popular back then! In my area anyhow....

I go to school for automotive and one of the teachers have a rx-7 3g body with a LS-1 motor in it. With a 100 shot the thing is a beast.... It doesn't shake my head in a bad way but i got to say the first time i seen it, it made me shake my head

^^^ How did you get a picture of that so close in someones yard?
