My sister-in-law's friend on facebook claims this is his. Says it has 202 whp. But I swear I think I've seen this thing about 10+ years ago in an old import tuners mag. It was in a "fugliest cars" (or something like that) section.

Oh yea that just happened.......and you cant really see it but the "wide bodykit" was installed via rivets and screws.

I see. But seriously. I know I've seen that car in a mag like 10 years ago. I was looking at my sister-in-law's facebook and somehow found the pic and the guy who claims it. Here's a small part of the conversation. Had to leave out most of it, and the names.

It is a LS1. There is two different engine's for those cars and the only difference is the distributer caps are in different places

I may have missed this reply in the 30 pages here, but no that is in no way an ls1, it is an lt1. I guess they are snappy.... for a stationwagon. It may be a corvette motor like stated before, but it is also a caprice, roadmaster, camaro, and firebird motor also. so yes some peoples 92-??? corvettes are representing a buick roadmaster motor if you want to put it that way, a whoppin 270hp

Oh good lawd! I wish I could've gotten a picture but sadly I can only describe this. I was going to get some Taco Hell when in the distance I saw a late 80s 300zx with a bumper cutout showing off a large FMIC. It starting looking funny as he got closer and I could see it was flat. As in cardboard cutout with an intercooler drawn on it flat.

I actually searched through the thread to find out the deal with the lt1 vs ls1 thing. HAHAHAHA! Dude actually said a roadmaster wagon is quick. But yea, definitely an lt1. Ls1 made it's debut in a production car in the c5 corvette in 97. The roadmaster ended production in 96.

But anyway, staying on topic.

Yes, all of this is very true. I am very familiar with all of the lt and ls platforms and in my opinion the ls1 is an amazing motor. and distributor on an ls1??? thats funny. coil on plug ftw!

That wagon with the huge rims and lift disgusts me. I own an 86 monte carlo ss, and i hate to see some idiot jack one up and throw huge rims on it. Even seeing it on a caprice or wagon like above is sad, they look awesome as a 96 impala ss clone, every lifted one is a waste imo
