All right here it goes. My eagle talon, 1991, tsi is fouling out my plugs and fast. When I give it fuel it goes to 2500 and then bouges out. I put in new plugs and within in 15 minutes of messing with it my plugs were full of carbon. I am thinking that it may be a air flow meter problem but my manual does not tell me how to check it. It only tells me how to check for battery voltage and reference at the wiring harness . Nothing to do with the sensor itself. Does anybody know how to check the air flow meter or have any other ideas as why I am running so rich. Also I am having troubles idling. It jumps from 1500 to 2000. I recently bought this car and the guy before me butchered it so I am hoping that it is just a vacuum problem. Could it possibly be my regulator? If that goes bad does it shut out fuel or just allow more in? Thanks for your replies and keep on boosting!!
