Carbon Fibre Hood in winter conditions?

And the benefit of this is? Exactly my point.

I'd replace stock parts that needed replacing with CF (hood, bumper, stuff like that) and it's not "ricey" to "upgrade" from plastic/metal to CF because it is for looks and it's real. Rice is stickers, fake CF parts( I say this because it's a basic lie and very deceiving). I agree buying it for weight reduction on a dd is silly but it does look good done selectively. And there is 15-20 pounds of paint on a entire car(I read this, it's not a "fact). Painting CF with candy is sweet and it is a good way to keep CF look while adding color to the dull grey and shiny black it normaly has.

Im not saying that its stupid to buy carbon fiber parts. I have doors, hood, and a hatch. I think it looks a little ricey.. Thats my opionon. I dont need someone with carbon fiber door handles questioning what i consider ricey.

SO...... not painting CF is rice???? call me KING RICE then..

Please look up the definition of r.i.c.e. Carbon Fiber is definitely rice.

If I were you I'd definitely get rid of those fenders, or just paint them. Looks rediculous IMO. Looks like you got in a head on collsion, and only had enough money to paint the bumper. It might not look so bad with only the hood and the trunk/spoiler carbon fiber cause then its almost like 2-tone minus the red roof. Its your car, but one more fellow eclipse I hate to see.

Chill, chill, alright i believe that any carbon fiber part that is put on the car for weight reduction and some look is ok. Even on some street cars. Now painting the CF hood is a good idea if you want the weight reduction along with keeping the car look stock. If there are parts that are CF for no reason but to look retarded and have no functionality than it's ricey, Like the stickers, and needed body kits, etc. Back on topic, I don't believe that the hood would have any issue's with the winter time. If your that worried about it. then just keep the stock hood and change out.
