OK... I looked. I really did.

I found articles on how to remove the washer nozzles from the original hood.... BUT I need to know how people went about fitting those nozzles into carbon fiber hoods. The one I fit through the new hood wants to spin to the side and will not sit down flush in the hood.

What do now?

^^ Mine weirdly puddle up after I use them and run down the hood. There's a weird stain from them now that I can't get off my hood.

That is because washer fluid is harmful to the finish. You will likely have to do your best to buff those "stains" out. I only fill my washer bottle with just water to prevent this.

If washer fluid is puddling up on your hood watch what the spray pattern looks like the next time you use them. I had the same problem when one of the nozzle holes were clogged and it was just seeping out onto my hood. I took it off, cleaned it with some warm soapy water and blew it out with the air hose. Good as new!

I'm in Washington, and some a-hole that put my hood on just capped off my washer fluid tubes...

I found out by blowing washer fluid all over my engine bay LOL, it blew the cap off.

Definitely find a way to run them tho, I've no ideas but lemme tell you first hand its a P.I.T.A to not have them.

Going to Chevron every time your window is dirty...urgggh!

As far as installing them on the wiper cowl goes I had great experience with it and the only hard part was trying no to lose the little black caps that are on the cowl. As far as cutting into carbonfiber make sure to seal it so water and the elements don't start working their way into the fiber or they have a potential to delaminate.

i dont have any holes predrilled so i dont think im going to drill into the hood... i do need to find out how to make the hood stay i really dont WANT to put in hood pins but i probably need to.... how do you drill it so the clear coat and fibers dont start spreading and looking like crap.. or is there a new kind of hood pin that someone knows about that doesnt make you have to drill into the top of the hood?

Imma go and plastic wrap my engine bay for a cool see through appeal. Should turn some heads.

Jk, but a cf hood has been in my thoughts. My washer sprays ok, but my wipers suck. They couldn't get rain residue off... Or was that dirt? Hmmm. For those with no washers, do you live near stations at least?
