car won't stay charged

My car won't stay charged. I will drive and it just runs out of juice and the car stalls. If I hook up jumper cables and let it charge it will start but then die shortly after. It has a brand new battery and alternator. What else could it be? thx andrew

Or, your new alternator is dead.

Or you have a severe parasitic drain on the electrical system from a short. I'd have the alternator checked out first and the fuse. If all is good start the task of tracking down a short.
