Okay sometimes my car will start fine but recently there have been periods of time(30sec-15mins) where all my car will do is click and it won't turn over at all. It seems like I am getting enough power (Battery was recently replaced) and it seems like I am getting fuel as well (I could see/smell the extra fuel when I finally got it to start). Could this be the starter or something else. If it is the starter how much am I looking to spend on the part and how hard/costly is it to replace? Thanks for any help. :)

1. Clean the battery terminals REALLY well and tighten them.

2. Tap the starter with a wooden hammer.

Yes it is acctually I've read that the clutch has to be pressed in in order to start the car but ever since I have bought the car I have not needed to do so.
