hey i have searched already for this but no one seems to be able to answer this and mine is a little different cause i can't find out what is wrong with it, it seems as if i have tested everything, but maybe i am forgetting some wiring somewhere or maybe a fuse. please help if you can

i have just done the 6 bolt swap into the 2g. All mechanics of the car have been done and done again, so that is not the problem. It is in the wiring of the car. I can't find out what is wrong. It is only firing on 2 cylinders (1 and 4) 2, 3 are not firing. I switched over to another coil pack thinking that was the problem, but that is not it. i also have another power transistor, still didn't fix it. I also have switched between the aem ems and the stock 2g ecu and still nothing different. The only other thing i think it could be is the cam position sensor, but i doubt it cause of the tests i have done on it. I think it has to be with in the wiring of everything together. I have done the 6 bolt swap. The car has been wired by 2 different people. I am not saying they did anything wrong, i just think that that is where the problem is, maybe not. Also when i take out the cam position sensor and spin it 180 degrees it turns the fuel pump on and off but when i have it in the engine and turn the key from off to on it doesn't seem like the fuel pump is kicking on. i don't know if this is a separate problem, or somehow related or even a problem at all. Please if somebody can give me some suggestions,it would be greatly appreciated .
thank you very much.

It could have to do how you wired in your CAS into your existing wiring harness. I'd find the instructions you used and go over that wiring again. Some people do have random misfire problems witht he 6 bolt swap, so that could be your problem too.

doesn't anybody know what causes this "random misfire" there has got to be a reason for it. Is there a chance it could be my spark plug wires at all, they are used, i don't think it could be though, to prevent it from firing.

random misfire is due to the fact that the ECU doesn't like getting info regarding crank and cam angle from the same source (or something like that). I don't think random misfire is the issue if your car's not starting, it usually happens while driving.

i got the random misfire code once and the guy at autozone told me it was my coils or my plug wires.. So try that
